London, UK – 24th February 2021:
Telesoft Technologies are pleased to announce a new partnership with US communications provider, Ventura Telephone (Ventel).
As part of the partnership Ventura Telephone will be working closely with Telesoft as a US distributor working on SS7 & AIN services that telco operators heavily rely on for voice announcement services.
Ventura Telephone is a national provider of renewable solutions for Telecoms companies. Working with Ventel is a desirable partner to represent Telesoft in the US because their goal is to provide value and quality to their customers through honesty and integrity.
David Langley at Ventel said “We have long supported the aging, legacy Cognitronics McIAS voice announcement products, so in keeping with our company’s mission to provide renewal solutions for telecommunications companies, we feel like this is almost a destiny or calling to have this opportunity to partner with Telesoft as a VAR for the Okeford platform. The Telesoft Okeford platform is truly a unique and elegant replacement solution to the problem of outdated and failing hardware on legacy voice announcement systems. Even more than providing a superior technology, Telesoft is a wonderful company to work with, and we have great respect for the Telesoft team. It is a tremendous honor for us to deliver the Okeford solution to our customers on behalf of Telesoft.”
“Although many networks are moving to all IP environments there are many telco operators that are still offering voice announcement services combined with traditional switch technology. We are working with Ventel to help telecommunications companies in the US & Canada reduce risk of failure that could impacts revenue, keep infrastructure running to meet regulatory requirements, and decrease the risk of a cyber breach” Gavin Smith – Business Development Manager
Telco operators rely on legacy SS7 & AIN services to provide key revenue-generating services and customer interaction platforms on infrastructure that is in some cases over 20 years old. Whilst these services may perform simple caller-based announcements, caller ID & billing, the infrastructure that they run on is at high risk of failure and potential cyber breaches due to legacy software that contains potential vulnerabilities. Our telecommunications products, OKEFORD, ARNE and TDAPI platforms, offer a range of voice, messaging, signalling services for the most demanding SS7 networks.
